Do 2 full pages (at least 10 figures) of "mini" gesture drawings. • These are relatively quick studies of people/children in different positions doing things – walking, climbing, leaning, sitting, dancing, sleeping.... • Try different gesture drawing techniques that have been demonstrated in class – skeleton/pivot points, ovals, contour, mass gesture, scribble, etc… Extra Challenge: Go to a park or a sporting event of some kind. Quickly observe and sketch active people to test your ability to capture motion quickly. |
