Mixed Media illustration
It all starts with an idea...that's the basis of this mixed media mini-project where you'll literally be guided by a prompt in the form of a printed page. What's printed on the "page" is up to you. I have repurposed encyclopedias, old yearbooks, atlases, repair manuals, floor plans and newspapers to look through - you could also bring printed material from home. Once you've decided on a background page, you'll begin the process of layering different mediums and adding/editing visual ideas that develop your initial inspiration into a small mixed-media work of art!
